Once upon a time there was a little boy called Sebastian whose Nanny made him his very first pair of dungarees. Everybody who saw these dungarees fell in love with them. These dungarees were made from an original 1970s pattern using traditional cotton fabric.
Over the next year, the ‘range’ extended to traditional rompers, nappy covers, full length cotton and full length jersey dungarees made with comfort and freedom in mind. Sebastian became a style icon and was joined by his cousin Anna. Anna benefitted from receiving Sebastian’s hand me downs and so became her very own style icon (in France)
Sebastian’s Nanny and Mummy then came up with the idea to create a unique range of clothing with a ‘modern vintage’ twist and Forever a Freckle was born.
The vision for Forever a Freckle is to offer traditional vintage style for today - to create garments that can be worn by both boys and girls and handed down in families so memories are made. Our traditional range is now made professionally in London to support UK manufacturing and is complemented by simple accessory garments which are hand printed in the UK. Our range is designed for toddlers and pre-schoolers at home, at nursery, indoors and out.
